Hi

We have a SBS2000 up and running for a while now with three email domains

All users have the domain that is equal to the server domain as default email domain (ex. mail domain: ourcompany.com and server is named: sever.ourcompany.com). Additional to that users receive mail on company2.com and company3.com. These are simply setup in the Active Directory and added to the useraccount

How can I allow users to send email as user@company2.com or user@company3.com? I cannot find how to do that

Thanks
Sam

Your users would have to have Outlook2002 (xp) or higher and then on the
menu you would see an accounts drop down for them to choose which one they
want to send from

If you use exchange you won't have account options, as they are all coming
in through the same account. You need to set the view to show the from
address. Choose from whichever address you want.

Hi Cris and Moishe

Thanks for your replies. Using different "from" addresses would require me to allow "send as", doesn't it? That is too much freedom as I only want the users to use the specifice boxes. Even then it would only allow to select from GAL and show the default address externally

I'm afraid that the only option is to create seperate AD accounts, with a seperate default email address

Any other ideas

Thanks
Sam
