where does my undelivered mail go?

This might seem stupid but can any body tell me where
incoming mail that cannot be delievered to user mail boxes
actually goes

Hi Kenneth,

On the Default SMTP Virtual Server properties you can define to whom those
messages (the NDR's) should go.

I'm thinking the question was actually the mail itself, after a moment of
reflection.

..\Exchsrvr\Mailroot\vsi 1\BadMail

BTW, Kenneth, if you browse to that location and it looks like you Explorer
windows just froze up...don't panic. In the current world of spam, you could
have 10K files or more in this folder, and the interface could take 2-5
minutes to come up if you have 50-60K files like this.

If you want to delete them, my recommendation is to do it from a CMD prompt,
not Explorer. You can minimize the box and keep working.
