Hi, I hope someone can help me out with the following;
I've recently upgraded a client from Veritas Backup Exec
from 8.6 to 9.1. The upgrade was successful, i.e no
errors reported, but for some reason the system is still
showing as version 8.6.
Has anyone come across this before? If so, is there a
solution?

I personally would not have upgraded the customer -- 8.6 works great, 9.x
was a complete rewrite with lots of issues, although many are running 9.x
without problems. I just didn't see the value in upgrading. In fact, for the
sites I've upgraded from SBS2000 to SBS2003, I've simply dropped Backup Exec
and now use the built in NTBackup.
