Did you run the ICW-wizard?

Yes, i ran ICW.

My isp pop3 mail server name is what i put in to receive
mail (eg. mail.x.com.au) and my isp smtp server name
(eg.smtp.x.com.au) is what i put in to send mail. Is this
correct?

Initially, i tried to put in DNS option. Maybe that is
why i received this error. I do not have a full time
connection to the internet.

What happens if i put in the pop3 server address to
send/receive mail?

thanks again

You can always try, to be honest I haven't got that much experience with
Pop3. But you can run the wizard as often as you want, untill it works.

Sue,

Do you know if you are supposed to be relaying your mail off of your ISP?
(This is also called a Smart Host)
