Hi, my company currently is running sbs 2000. We're puchasing 2 new servers
are currently exploring the possibility of upgrading to sbs 2003, but also
looking at the possibility of just doing a hardware upgrade. Anyone has any
ideas of how long MS intends to support sbs 2000?

note: found by putting 'support life cycle' into the search at
support.microsoft.com

Note2: whichever you choose to do (either keep SBS2000 or move to SBS2003)
the process available from www.sbsmigration.com will make it a lot simpler.

Hi Nigel,

Since you have SBS 2000...

When you can get Version Upgrade (VUP) pricing to move up to SBS 2003
Premium (as well as a free upgrade to SBS 2003 SP1 including ISA 2004) and
VUP pricing for your SBS 2003 CALs, plus the fact that SBS 2003 is already 2
years into its own lifecycle, plus the added features of SBS 2003, I would
think that upgrading to SBS 2003 would be the preferred route without too
much thought involved. :-)
