shared fax server error

I have setup the shared fax server on my sbs2000 sp4. I
am using a U.S. Robotics 56K FAX EXT PnP on com1 (modem
queries and dials out fine), however when receiving a fax
I always get a error in the event log source: Microsoft
shared fax, category: inbound, event id: 32091
in the shared fax log "Reception error" "Unknown fatal
error" "0x0000000c" 9/8/2003 16:32:5 9/8/2003
16:34:5 "U.S. Robotics 56K FAX EXT PnP" "C:\Documents and
Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Shared
Fax\Queue\1C37648445045.tif" 0 "Fax" "" " " " " 0
Can't find much on msknowledge I have reinstalled the fax
server, I have tried different route configurations and
the problem persists. Any thoughts?
