Greetings:

I have set up SBS shared fax to route incoming messages to a specific mail
user. While faxes appear to come in and leave the server successfully, no
fax message arrives via mail, and no mail notification appears to happen. I
have reviewed Q283072, but there's painfully little insight on SBS shared
fax issues in MS's knowledgebase. Any suggestions? I'm quite certain that
everything is configured correctly.

Have you tried:
SBS: How to configure the Shared Fax service to route incoming fax jobs
to a common inbox

Ensure that your Exchange is setup to route your incoming mail to your Local
Host I.P instead of "All unassigned"

If you are running Exchnage 2003 SP1 there is a entire diffrent approach,
let me know.

Hi Henry: Thanks for your response.

Yes, I did follow Q311529, even went so far as uninstalling and reinstalling
the shared fax service, but had no success.

I'll double-check that and give it a try. Thanks again.

Aha!

I did discover the problem. I was using GFIMailEssentials, and the
notifications were being flagged by the spam filters.

Thanks for posting back the solution.
...one more thing to remember to ask people with problems to check.
