Hello,

I've installed ISA server on my 2000 server. When I connect remotely, I can
browse the internet and get my pop and smtp mail. My problem is I can't get
to the newsgroup servers in outlook express. This is the error message I
get:
Account: msnews.microsoft.com
Server: msnews.microsoft.com
port: 119
SSL: 0
Code: 800ccc0d
I'm typing this message from the 2000 server on which I setup ISA server. I
did setup the port to be opened in IP Packet Filters and that's why I'm able
to send this from the server. I don't know why I can't send this from the
client. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Ann,

Do you have the ISA firewall client installed on your clients? Can you
telnet to msnews.microsoft.com on port 119 from your clients?
