Dave,
I am confused by your response to this newsgroup question and seem to be
getting conflicting information from various sources.
We install a lot (2-3 per quarter) of SBS 2000 servers for our clients and
when they want another DC at a 2nd site location we have been telling them
they cannot do that with SBS. Have we been incorrect?
Assumming the entire organization is still less than 50 users... Can you
have a 2nd DC at a 2nd site location within an SBS domain authenticating
users at the both the SBS site and the 2nd site as well as replicating AD?
Also, while I'm on the subject... If I can have a DC that can authenicate
users and replicate the AD in a 2nd site location - if I install Exchange
server on the 2nd DC, can I sync public folders with the SBS/Exchange server
and have the users in the 2nd site still send/receive email if the primary
site's Internet/VPN link goes down?
Your repsonse is greatly appreciated!
Please let me know if you have any questions.
