I have an SBS2000 network with win98 and win xp pro. They want roaming
profiles. I know the preferred method would be using a GPO and redirection.
But I don't think that works with win98. I setup a folder called profiles
and configured all users to point to this share in active directory. But the
xp clients are not working. they get an error at log in about could not find
profile will use local copy. Can someone tell me how to make roaming
profiles work for both clients.

TIA

Roaming profiles won't work with W98.
Have you given all the users full permissions on the share Profiles?

Thanks for your input. I was able to get all the clients to use roaming
profiles by recreating the profile path and set it to each users directory
and that fix it!!!
