restore of Exchange pre-SP3 - help!

I have a big problem. Had issues with our Exchange database, our backup was
a couple of days old. So, I spent a good part of the day trying to get the
corrupt database repaired.

That failed, so I figured I'd go back to our backup tape.

However, while trying to repair the database, I decided to install SP3
without knowing the consequences.

Now when I do a restore from tape, it's saying the version of the logs do
not match. A quick search tells me basically it's because I installed SP3
and am trying to restore a pre-SP3 backup.

Any good options??
