Hello all

I would like some advice on how to change a xmall business server setup,
running exchange and isa and making it a single workstation. This would
entail I presume, saving exchange profile for the individual user, demoting
it from a domain server to a normal computer, making it a workgroup,
installing applications and importing outlook backup. Also do I need to
specifically change it from being optimised for network services to
applications, or would the demoting do that?

Is this correct? and how would I go about it? This computer belonged in a
persons business who have since restructured to be a one man business and
this will now be the main and only computer.

Thanks
Michael

Hi Michael,

You can't 'remove' SBS. You can only put in a CD and boot from it and
install another OS. A server should not be used as a workstation. SBS can't
be demoted and it can't be put in a workgroup.
