using SBS2003. RRAS is set up, but nobody can make a PPTP VPN connection.
(port forwarding is enabled) The problem seems to be that although an
appropriate static pool is set up on the RRAS server, the service is not
grabbing the first address (or any) from that pool to assign to itself as it
would normally do.
As a result, ipconfig does not show any dial in interface and when looking
in RRAS under iprouting/general, the internal interface is shown as "non
operational" although it does appear as "connected" under the "interfaces"
group.

Can anyone suggest what I am missing, or what the problem may be?

Many thanks

Adrian

Hi Adrian,

Can you rerun the RRAS wizard and then CEICW? After that check the RRAS
properties and make sure that it is listening to the internal nic for DHCP.
