I go to the DNS server on my SBS and under Forward Lookup
Zone there's the name of the domain, if I right click the
domain name there's then an option to "Reload", does this
refresh the DNS hostA records? If I experiment and press
reload will DNS get messed up? I currently don't have any
hostA records in the forward lookup zone and trying to
figure out why.

make sure dns is setup correctly. I have a paper in the download section of
mcse2000.com that explains the non-wizard way.
