Silly semantics for Susan:

You can't call this an anonymous survey if Microsoft is requiring a
valid MS-Passport account, which by design must be linked to an active
e-mail address.

The survey writers may choose not to include identifiers in their data,
but you can't call it anonymous while the "login" prompt serves as a
gatekeeper.
