Company web site is hosted externally and is currently under going
remodeling. When it is accessed externally it displays that the site is
under reconstruction. The problem is when accessed from internally the old
web page shows up. I have stopped the web proxy serv, deleted the *.cdat
file in the urlcache folder, restarted web proxy numerous times but still
shows old site page. I have rebooted server & at least one workstation,
still broke. Deleted all cookies & temp internet files from server and
flushed dns. What else should I check?

It ended up being the ISP who used to host the web site a few months back.
They still had dns records active, pointing to the old server. Any
subscriber to that ISP was getting the wrong web page. How long would
someone normally keep the web pages on their server before deleting them?
They were downloaded from their servers way back and put on differ servers,
which are now being updated. If it wasn't for the update who knows how long
this would have continued.
