open relay

My user is geting bounced message that the system said
they sent email with attahcment that contains virus, which
they verified that it was not sent from them. There was no
item in their sent box. How do i fixed this? Is this due
to open relay? How do I verify if open relay was enable on
my server?

If it has happened over the last few days or so it is probably the
WORM.SoBig.F that is floating around now. It sounds like you have your
system under control. It is the other systems out on the net that are not up
to date.

We have been getting the same messages here.
