my SBS 2000 server is running dangerously low on free
space.
Under the C:/winnt/there are a lot of $ntuninstallB.....
folders can I delete those, and if so will it cause
anything not to work or weaken security at all?

Hi Dave,

That won't gain you enough I think. Where are your Exchange databases and
logfiles? Are you running backups?
You can also move the Clientapps, Users and Company folder to another
partition. How big is your c-drive?

No, it won't hurt, you just won't be able to uninstall any patches. 4GB
system partition - Honest? Wow, I truthfully don't know how you're running
at all!

So, it's probably not a good thing to do then.

SBS 2000 running on a 4 gb partition can be done. I have a client with that
setup (migrated from NT4) and there is still 1,5 gb free space left.
All Users folders, Company share, Clientapps, Exchange, SQL are moved to
another partition. You might want to have a look at the ISA logfiles and
move them.

If you delete them, you will lose the ability to uninstall those hotfixes.
What about moving them to a folder on another drive/volume?
