Hi

how do i safely move exchange to a different drive on my
SErver?

I have a got a second primary partition formatted with
NTFS that is 2gb. I am running out of space on c drive
where exchange is installed.

What is the correct way to do it?

thanks

You should not move exchange in total, because this will give you problems.
Best you should do, is move the transaction, logs en edb en stm files.
How you must do that, you can find in the MS KB
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;257184

JHardy -- you may know this, but just in case -- if you are running out of
room, please check first for the existences of .log file files in c:\program
files\exchsrvr\mdbdata -- if you have more than 5-10 of these log files, it
may be an indication that you are not doing a proper "exchange aware"
backup. Do NOT simply delete these file. Go to www.smallbizserver.net to
learn how to do a proper exchange backup.
