modem keeps dialing and will not disconnect

Hi

My modem keeps dialing every 15 minutes and i do not know
what is causing it.

My modem will not disconnect either. i have to manually
disconnect it.

i have sbs 2000 with a dial up connection to the internet
and one network card.

my mail is checked every 4 hours.

Trend micro is checked in the early morning hours.

I have checked the workstations and they do not appear to
have any thing installed which would trigger it off.

Please help someone.

Maybe disconnect the RJ-11 cable from the modem and then see if anything
pops up in the event logs after 15-30 minutes.
