I cannot find "microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs" among the Discussion Groups listed here. If I do a search, items posted to this group are included in the results, but when I click on the name of the group from within the posting, I receive a "Discussion Group not found" error.

sounds like your ISP's news server doesn't carry the group. You could ask
them to include it

OR, a much better idea, connect to news.microsoft.com.

Hi - it's there, but you might want to consider using a newsreader like
Outlook Express or Forte Agent rather than the web interface to the
newsgroups - it's a lot easier to do nearly everything there, including
searching, which is always a good idea to do before you post, as well as
mark messages to be watched, and filter based on replies to your posts.

The Microsoft public news server is msnews.microsoft.com and you can
subscribe to as many groups as you like.

For tips on using the web interface, should you prefer to use it, see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=newswhelp&style=toc#faq2148

Thanks for the speedy reply, "Lanwench". I already have access to the newsgroup in Outlook Express. However, for some searches, I prefer the new MS web interface at:

http://communities2.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?guid=1080912A-26C5-7040-AFDD-2224A4FEB3EA

I can find the "microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz2000" newsgroup there, but not the "microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs". Does anyone know where it is hiding or if it will be included in the near future on the Microsoft Discussion Groups Home Page?

Althought, as Susan pointed out that you cannot browse to get it (don't know
why?)... you can still access it directly from the SBS2k3 webpage:

Instead of relying on your ISP to carry all of Microsoft's groups, why not
use Microsoft's own news server:

news.microsoft.com

Add it in addition to your ISPs newsgroup server so that you can get to all
the groups that Microsoft has.
