Hi,

i have a scenario where having very recently switched ISPs, within one day a
large amount of emails are in the ountbound queue. i have read the article
about the POP3 connector being bugged in SBS2003, but this is SBS 2000 and an
upgrade in not going to happen.

we were using the POP3 connector before, without problem.

does the hotfix also patch the POP3 connector in SBS2000?
if not, is there a way of setting exchange/smtp up so that it refrains from
doing this?

thanks

Hi Rich,

If your ISP supports SMTP, ask them to set it up for you. They will have to
know your public IP. You then rerun ICW and forward port 25 from your router
to your external nic IP.

That hotfix 835734 is not for SBS 2000.
