How do I have a user check their local account with OWA
when they are only allowed to send internal email? Most
people have the name Jow@xxxxxx.org but others have the
betty@xxxxxx.local. These are the users that get access
denied when trying to login with the OWA account. Help.

If it's only a few users assign them a second smtp address (don't make
it the default one) with betty@xxxxxx.local.

That allows them to logon.

The user must have _one_ SMTP address matching the local domain name.
