I've got a new sbs2000 installation. I've got laptops
that dial-in OK, but I have one laptop that will
establish a dial-up connection but then can't see any of
the network, including exchange server. I get a 6118
error message when I try to browse the network or use the
NET VIEW command. This laptop was running w98 so I
upgraded it to XP Pro and it still has the same problem.

Any ideas most welcome....

Is there a computer account setup on the SBS for the XP Pro laptop (you =
would have to create a different one from the Win98 computer name that =
existed)??

Is the DNS settings on the Laptop correct??

Have you tried a host or lm host lookup??
