Our companies VPN has been configured but is very much at
the testing stage. We use ISA server2k and SBS2k

The VPN Seems to work ok and a test user can logon to the
network Via VPN.

Here are a list of the problems we are encountering when
we have a live VPN connection.

1 - He can't browse the network via network neighboruhood.
2 - Server name can't be resolved from start>run \\servname
2 - He can't ping the servers local address 192.168.16.1
3 - He is assigned an IP Address of 169.254.23.100
(obviously that's why he can't ping the server but if the
address is suppposed to be assigned DHCP well why isn't he
getting an IP in the 192.168.16.xxx range as it is the
DHCP server for the local network he is loggin on to).

Help Please!

Did you setup RRAS that the remote users will get an IP from the
DHCP-server? You'll have to make sure it will only use the internal nic for
handing out IP's.

Open up RRAS from the SBS-console and choose properties. Check the several
tabs.
