I have two network cards on my server. One is connected to T1 line and other
one is connected to LAN. I am trying to share internet connection on the
server with everone on the LAN. I tried through Routing and Remote access,
setup Internet network setup. It works fine.
But I try to enable VPN access through ISA server, my connections sharing
stops working. I am not able to set both at the same time.
Any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Danny,

Can you post the ipconfig/all from the server? Have you run the ICW wizard
yet?

Marina,

Right now I do not have the access to the server. But as far as I remember
settings are
Internal LAN Configuration
IP - 10.0.0.2
Subnet mask:255.255.255.0
Default gateway:
Primary DNS: 10.0.0.2

External connection configuration
IP:216.194.51.197
Subnet:255.255.255.248
Default gateway:216.194.51.192
Primary DNS: 216.194.28.33

What is ICW's full form.

I get internaet connection at the server and clients too. Problem starts
when I make the settings in ISA to allow VPN Clients.

Hi Danny

Remote desktop to your server IP (you posted the IP earlier...lol...jat
consulting) At least terminal services works...lol

ICW is internet connection manager (start smallbusiness server administrator
console) then ' todo ' list.

Reading your post are you using internet connection sharing ? Use the
wizards in SBS it does many things for you.

Running ICW will help all configurations and here is a link to help VPN:-

Link for setting up network cards:

Hi Danny,

DNS on your external nic should be pointing to your server IP. Please
correct that and post the complete ipconfig/all again.

Marina,

I ran ICW and it solved all the problems. Now both are
working fine.

Only one problem remaining. My one client computer can
create VPN connection to server and other one cannot
evenif I try with same user id.

I really appreciate your help

Hi Danny,

Great.
Can you elaborate on the vpn connection problem? From what OS? Is that a
network computer or a remote computer?
