hi all

We have a confusing problem with Outlook/Exchange, emails are all working
correctly internally and externally.
exchange backups all fine etc etc. The server is a SBS2000 with exchange
2k.

The only problem is email previewing or opening of internal emails seems to
be very SLOW.
ie too slow (5 to 7 seconds). External emails open almost instantly.

DNS seems to be configured OK, the antivirus software is symantec
enterprise, edition v.8, we have tried disabling background scanning to see
if that is slowing it.
The problem cannot be detected from OWA so Im wondering if this points
toward a client side problem?

Has Tools, Instant Messaging in Outlook been selected. If so, unselect it.

Best Regards,
Dennis.
