after complete SBS 2000 install,
including W2000sp4 and Ex2000sp3,
expanding all snap-ins on SBadmin console succeed,
except for "First Organization (Exchange)"
which fails with MMC info window:
"Snap-in failed to initialize.
Name: -not available -
CLSID: {....}
Solution advised by MS KBA 294148
does not resolve the problem.

You might search the registry with that CLSID to identify what the product
is (Exchange, probably) and then rerun the SBS setup to repair the console
for Exchange. I believe that you have an option to just refresh the
management console, but it's been a while since doing this.

Haven't had a look myself but KB articles 245029 and /or 326011 might help
you.

Thank you for posting your question to the newsgroup.
Is this the error message your're seeing?

Error Message: "Snap in failed to initialize. Name: - not available -
CLSID:
{1B600AEA-10BA-11D2-9F28-00C04FA37610}.

Resolution:
1) Run the SBS 2000 Integrated Setup Wizard,
2) Under Exchange 2000, select and reinstall the Exchange System Management
Tools
