Hello

We have just installed C/S/M SMB version. It seemed to go OK except
that I cannot get email notification of virus scan for either
Offiecscan or Scanmail ...

With Scanmail - I have sent an email to an address held on the server
with the eicar.com attachment but I do not get an email notification.

The email should be sent to Scanmail Administrator. Presumably this is
the same as the Window 2000nAdministrator? I have set up a contact so
that Administrator email should be sent to my own email address. I see
in the user guide "Administrator;Joe". Can Joe be an email address?
Exactly what is Joe an example of?

I seem to remember that under C/S/M Enterprise it was possible to
"test" the notification? Is this possible under the SMB version?

Under Officescan notification I have added my email address but no
email comes when say I try to download eicar.com to the server...

partial success ! with the Officescan notification it asks for the
domain name of the mail server (SMTP part) and I was using our .local
name rather than the "name" of the server ....
