Only Open License grants you the right to use o previous version of the same
product, same edition.
The right of downgrade must be stated in EULA.

Hell YEAH!!!!

Buy a new box and SBS2k3 Standard while intending to excercise your
downgrade rights to install SBS2K onto it, then when you eventually satisfy
the EULA by implementing SBS2k3 'within a reasonable period' you can keep
ISA and SQL.

Makes sense to me.

I'm kidding folks :-)
