I'm running DNS on my 2000 SBS. About once every two
weeks the dns, which is set to automatic, disables its
self which freezes our internet and our e-mail. Any
suggestions about some hidden registry entry or anything
that may be causing the dns to disable itself? Any help
would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,

Tia

Try this;
Open a command-line window (Start-Run-"cmd"-Return/Enter).
Type : IPCONFIG /flushdns and hit Return/Enter.
and when the prompt returns, type :
IPCONFIG /registerdns and hit Return/Enter.
Not case sensitive.
Ideally, get this done (scripted if need be) on all Client
PCs (and servers if you run AD/DDNS).
This flushes the DNS caches.

If your problem returns, more info may be needed.
