I'd really appreciate some opinions with these couple
questions.

1. I need to set up the structure of the network shares on
the server. As of right now, i have a dynamic drive
(assigned) that is going to hold the files. I was planning
on having this drive mapped when the user logs in. As i
was browsing around and after connecting one of the
clients to the domain, I noticed that a folder
called "company" is mapped to the desktop. Is this the
folder that i should be using and assigning the security
to? Should i NOT have that folder mapped?

2. When someone browses the network, they're able to see
all the shared folders under the SYSVOL. Is this "OK" to
have? Are thier folder and files in there that nobody
should be browsing through?

Again, i really appreciate some opinions with these. I'm
trying to get all my thoughts together before i start this
project.

Thanks again, Mike

The points you observer are normal in a default SBS 2000 installation.

The Company folder is intended to suggest a common folder point for the
entire company to use, but that's just a hint from MS, you do what you want.

As for the Sysvol contents, this is the location where MS defaults the
replication files for configuration of the Domain Controller contents that
are required for configuration of all network clients. It is full of
important stuff, but it is also generally visible to read, but not modify by
most users.
