HI All,

I have recently added exchange to my SBS2000 installation using the
"typical" installation. Did the forest prep and then domain prep for the
AD. I can't seem to find teh POP3 connector. I thought POP3 connector
installed by default in SBS? Where have I gone wrong?? At present users
are downloading via internet mail and storing in the mail boxes - not the
most efficient means of accessing mail.

All help gratefully received.

Michael.

Typical installation???
You shouldn't need to do a forest prep and all that. You should just run the
setup from the SBS cd and let it do its thing.

Thanks Marina, was having a few issues with my newsgroups as was going
through my ISP - now going through MS direct. Anyway, I seem to be making
progress as I have identified the installation method as the culprit. I
installed from disk3\exchange\setup, rather thand disk1\setup and following
the prompts. Looking at my installation options currently.

Issue resolved - had to install properly via Disk1, and not try to
circumvent and install via the setup in the exchange folder on disk3.

Many thanks for your assistance.
