I had a laptop with W2k-pro and previuosly connected to the internet with a cable modem. I set up another pc with SBS 2000. I can get to the internet with the server and with laptop attached to my network but when I go back to my original configuration with the laptop, I can't get to the internet. I used DHCP with the cable modem and I double checked the IP settings. I used IPCONFIG /release and /renew and even rebooted. I can ping my router, the cable modem and my ISP DNS servers. I just can't get to the internet. I can't find any information on this. Is this a security issue? Thanks, John

Hi John -

Verify that you don't have the SBS proxy settings still in your browser . .
