Check the ipconfig/all on the clients. Does everything point to the
server-IP? Put the nics of those XP's on anything but autosense.

Check that the preferred DNS server listed in the IP config of the XP
machines points to the SBS server. XP relies heavily on the DNS server for
communication in the domain and I have had similar problems that have benn
due to this.

Can you just log off and then back on again then have access? If so then
there may be a problem like MArina said with the autosense of the nics
needing to be set to anything but autosense.

Also, when you are not able to get access to the server are you able to ping
the server by IP address and by name? Also, from a command prompt do an
ipconfig /flushdns then do a ipconfig /registerdns and then see if you
have access.

Also, check the DHCP settings on the server under the scope to make sure the
proper information is listed for router, DNS, WINS, DOmain name.

Just some thing to try.
