Hello,

Hopefully a simple one. We VPN into an SBS 2000 server then rdp to conenct
to client pc's.

Once connected via we are unable to browse the network, ping usernames but
able to ping IP. We can not map network drives.

Can any tell me how to set it up to be able to connect to shares?

Thanks for any help.

Have you applied SBS 2000 SP1a?
Have you also done the registry edits and A records in KB 292822?

Name resolution and connectivity issues on a Routing and Remote Access
Server that also runs DNS or WINS

No I have not installed SP1, but I did do the reg edit to enable NetBIOS
over IP.

How ever I still have a problem, this works from Winxp (no service packs)
client but not from Win XP with SP2 loaded?

What happens if you turn off the WinXP SP2 firewall?
