I have a question, I recently "inherited" a server with dual P3 450MHz
processors and about 2GB of memory. The server is currently running Back
Office Server.

Here are my questions:

1. Can I upgrade both processors to above 450MHz?
2. Can I use this server to run Windows Server 2003?
3. Are there benefits to going to Small Business server 2003 rather than 2000?

Thank you, I realize the hardware question is really not forum correct.

Hi David,

Is this server running straight Backoffice Server or BackOffice Small
Business Server?

1. I suspect it would be difficult to find matched CPUs now to upgrade both
CPUs on such an old server.
2. Yes it will run Windows Server 2003.
3. Move to SBS 2003... yes, quite a few reasons to move to SBS 2003. At
the top of the list may be that you can no longer buy SBS 2000.
