I have a site with an SBS2000 Server. Clients with XPSP2 are unable to FTP
with the Windows Command Line FTP Utility. When they try to open a Server
with the Open command they get the message: Connect: Unknown Error Number.

Clients with XP SP1 can connect without any problems.

I've tried switching off the XP Firewall on the NIC makes no difference.

All suggestions greatly appreciated

The Windows firewall blocks inbound traffic only, so that isn't related.

Where is the FTP server in question?

Thanks for the response.

I've tried testing to many FTP Servers, all with the same result and I've
also tested to these Servers from other SBS sites with success.
