Tried to install the SP4 on a SBS2000 Box. After it starts inspecting the
system it says a program has netstat open. Tried the norm stuff and nothings
seems to work.
Booted up in safe mode to rename and that does not work either. Any
suggestions?? I have already installed SBS SP1 on this system.

Hi Danny,

I think you might find your server is infected with a worm or a virus. You
should have been at SP4 more than a year. SBS SP1a has SP4 for W2k server.
Check for virus first.

We use Trend Micro Office suite and I have scan everything and it tells me
there is no virus. Any other suggestions. I know I'm a little late installing
this Service Pack.

Hi Danny,

It might be a worm. Check weird processes in taskmanager and kill them. You
should be able to kill that netstat process. You might have a trojan in your
system, or even worse.

Have checked and rechecked for virus and worms. Can't find anything. Killed
all services down to about 6 processes and still the same error. Is there a
log file or something I could look at. The Trend micro is up to date on
everything and it can't find anything.
