Windows update problem by gypsy

Check that she has told the machine that it belongs to the
SBS domain. In network connection go to properties,
highlight Client of Windows and right click. She should
check that she has ticked the box for "join a domain" and
written in the domain to which this particular server
belongs. My wording is a little out as I haven't done this
for a while. Youl would also have to check that the proxy
server info is setup in Internet Options/Lan
Hope this helps as Win 98 machines work just fine with
SBS2000 and a PIII will skip along quite happily.
