At the moment my company has a SBS 2000, windows 98se
workstations with 1 XP machine, we have had continuous
problems with logging on etc with this pc, it seems to
take about 3 minutes to logon.

We are building some workstations for another company that
also has SBS 2000 - They want all XP machines - i just
wondered if this will cause any problems.

Check the ipconfig/all. Does everything point to the server-IP?

Tania:

I've got one network that has SBS2000 and 20xp workstations.
It's my favorite site - no issues to speak of and fewer bizarre events then
my heavily mixed environments.
