Hi there,

I'm looking at upgrading from SBS 2000 OEM to SBS 2003. Can OEM even be
upgraded? If i buy a retail upgrade, does that mean the I can shift SBS to
another server in the future? What part number is the upgrade I need (I need
a CAL one too so I guess that means I need 2)?

Thanks,

Kane

Unless there is a pressing urgency...you would now be advised to wait =
for SBS 2008...due out near the end of this year...you won't be able to =
upgrde in place. Because SBS 2008 is 64bit you would have to do it on =
new hardware.

Yes.

No. Applying an upgrade SKU to an OEM licence results in an OEM licence
for the later product.
