Can someone help me with some questions I have about where to put a win2003
web server on a multihomed sbs2000 network? I wanted to put it in the DMZ to
keep it isolated from the LAN but then I found out that there is an
application on it that LAN users need to access.

I can put the web server in the DMZ and just enable netbios over TCP/IP to
allow the LAN clients access to it; but then isn't that like placing the web
server on the internal network anyway?

If I put the Web server on the LAN and do port forwarding to it from the
SonicWall how secure will the network be with the web server on the LAN? Is
there any good references that I should Look at?

TIA

The app on the web server is a database. LAN clients access it by netbios
names.
