I'm beginning to accumulate a number of old servers, replaced with new ones.
Can SBS machines be upgraded to Windows XP and be used as Desktops, donated
to schools or churches? The machines work fine, they just have the wrong
Operating System for Desktop use.
Thank you in advance, David Thomas

Almost every town has charities that would love to have them, including
mine. I teach a computer basics class to local people out of my church.
These are people that have never even touched a mouse before and are scared
of computers. When I get equipment donated that doesn't work for the class,
I sell it off and use the proceeds to upgrade the class equipment.

Check with local organizations. Or I'd be happy to take them off your
hands. Your company would of course get an acknowledgement for tax
purposes.
