Viewing shared faxes on XP Pro

I have previously posted several requests for help on
viewing shared faxes on XP Pro. I have been advised to
see article 316418 on every occasion
I have done all that is listed in 316418. I am able to
pull up the fax console; but I am unable to view(open to
view) the
faxes that are listed. I can print them but I cannot view
them. I get an hourglass for several seconds; but the
viewer does not open.
The program works properly except for the fact that I
cannot view it.
I can go to my server(SBS 2000) or any win98 2nd edition
machine
and view without any problem. Those machines use the
Imaging for WIndows Preview program. Is there any place
that I can download and install that program to my XP
machines?

I have a feeling that your problem is due to xp using its
own fax client and win2000 server and 9x use win2000's
fax client. I have been looking for a way to use the
shared fax and get a send or fail message but haven't had
any success. I find that the faxing capabilities that
come with xp pro are limited at best.
