I'm running Windows Small Business Server 2000. When I logon with a
XP Pro workstation, I can't seem to add any of the network users to
the local administrator account. When I'm logged in as the domain
administrator and go to add a network user account in the local group
via the computer manager, XP Pro will only see the local accounts.
The workstation will not allow me switch to the network that it is a
memeber of to browse the network users list. Any suggestions?

If you log on as the account that would normally be using
that computer, and that you want to add to the local admin
group, go to control panel and click on users and
passwords. Enter the SBS admin username and password as
the credentials and you'll be able to change the
privileges.
