Have to following issues with SBS Upgrade and need some guidance.

1. The TO DO list contains NO items
2. The POP3 is no longer working and there are NO options in the POP3
Connector feature
3. The CIAEMW wizard asks for an SSL certificate for our server but it is
not a web server. I have out in the dnsalias name we have attacyhed to the
router IP but it is failing in the Network and Firewall configuration
(though the secire website works). Have not been able to set up email at all
externally like SBS2K. Internal everything works.

Lost here and everyone is back at work tomorrow...HELP!!

TIA

Hi John,

The 2k3 newsgroup is at microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs if you want to
get quicker replies.
You might want to reinstall the Server tools from the CD's, to get the To do
list back.
Do you have the POP3 connector?
You have to run the CEICW wizard and when it asks for the certificate you
will fill in your fqdn if you have an MX record created by your ISP for it,
or your public static IP.

create your own cert with the FQDN of your server. Pop settings don't
upgrade, at least don't migrate. Look at Popbeamer though....you will have
fewer problems with that 3rd party connector. As for the ToDO......do you
really need it? Reinstall per Marina's if you do.
