I haven't loaded these patches yet - I have seen a couple reports in
newsgroups about MS04-011 causing problems with 100% cpu usage after reboot,
requiring uninstall. So far, yours is the only post I've seen in this
particular group about problems with (any of) those patches. I'm also
curious if anyone else has had issues with these on an SBS server - can't
afford downtime right now, so I'm waiting a bit longer...

This is a Proliant ML350 G3 server with a smartarray 641 and a NC7760 PCI
Gigabit Server Adapter I think I need to get the latest software from HP for
the network card I hope this will fix it, MS04-011 was the the one I had to
uninstall but if you try to just uninstall 011 you get a warning that 012
and 014 depend on it.

Tim-

We had the same problem with our SBS2000 install. We installed the
patches and no Internet Connection after we rebooted. We have removed
all the patches but to no avail. We have also run ICW to see if that
would help and it didn't. Anyone find a fix?

Thanks

Josh

I just installed everything *except* MS04-011, and so far am not seeing any
issues. Keeping my fingers crossed.

No, everything worked after I uninstalled those 3 patches.

Tim-

Thanks for the info. Did you do anything special to uninstall the hotfixes?
We uninstalled using ADD Remove Programs and unfortunately aren't getting
the same results as you.

Josh

I removed 012 & 014 BEFORE I removed 011 and I used Add Remove Programs. I'm
also not using ISA our server sits behind a dedicated firewall I don't know
if that makes any difference.
