I have done this a couple times and it has always worked.

I have a newly created SBS 2K domain.
I have not yet configured ISA, but have DNS, DHCP and AD working.
Have created a client setup disk to try and add new member server (to be
promoted to a DC to support Primary DC/GC) - not worked.
Tried to add to Domain from the Properties of the member server - no joy
there.

Message ' Unable to contact domain or name not valid'

Can anyone help?

TIA

Can you post the ipconfig/all from the SBS and the member server?

Sorted.

Re installed server, NICs and before doing anything else I DCPromo'd and it
