I am getting the following error message in the application log regarding the computer nodes and the domain:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: NETLOGON
Event Category: None
Event ID: 5513
Date: 28/09/2003
Time: 10:17:19 AM
User: N/A
Computer: SERVER
Description:
The computer V4 tried to connect to the server \\SERVER using the trust relationship established by the DOMAIN domain. However, the
computer lost the correct security identifier (SID) when the domain was reconfigured. Reestablish the trust relationship.

I am not able to run vbscripts for copying files to the other nodes as we get the error message of "Permission Denied".

I shall appreciate a helpful hint from the gurus here.

You've come head to head with one of the Specific Limitations of SBS
which is that you -cannot- form trusts.

You'll need to re-think your strategy/model.

Rajiv

This problem occurs if the DOMAIN is a previously existant domain.

Because of the way the SBS server work, I have not found a method of
bringing "Old" domain members into the "New" domain.

Go to the computer V4 and remove it from the domain into a workgroup, then
power down and restart, you should get a welcome to the xxxx workgroup. Next
join the computer to the "New" domain. Make sure that the computer name is
in the Active directory waiting for V4. http://SERVER/setupcomputer is the
method I used, and all my old workstations joined the new setup.

This error occurs every time I change my system.

Thanks for clearing that up Don.

I've moved W/Ss from one Domain to another often,
but hadn't seen that one before.

Don,

Thanks for your advice. I shall give it a try but when I type http://server/setupcomputer in my browser, I get a message that page
cannot be found.

Is this problem responsible for the problem that I am not able to access other nodes from my main node when I log on as an
administrator to my main node?
